Our Club

Waikirikiri Hockey is an Incorporated Society and was formed 3rd November 2016.  We are an affiliated member of the Canterbury Hockey Competition (CHA).

In 2019 we were the 5th largest junior club in CHA and had  22 teams entered across all grades and winners of the Hockey NZ Club of the year award;

The club caters for all ages of players with the following programs, Fun Sticks (Yr 1/2), Mini Sticks (Yr 3/4), Kiwi Sticks (Yr 5/6), Kwik sticks (Yr 7/8), Platinum (Yr 9/10/11/12/13), Sunday Super League (Div2, Yr 11+ to Adult) & Mid Week Open. (Adults). 

Waikirikiri also runs a local club Social 5-aside Hockey competition at Foster Park.

Purpose; To grow the game of hockey with the ethos People, Pathways, Performance

Our Logo symbolises the Waikirikiri (Selwyn) river, the sport and family
