Turf Access Rules

These rules are in place to ensure the safety of participants and to ensure the facility is respected and will remain a quality facility for years.

The following are the rules for use of the Turf at Foster Park.

• The turf is available to Waikirikiri Club Members and Selwyn Rate Payers
• Do not share the padlock code with others, forward them the link to this event so they can sign up and read the rules of usinf the turf
• Hockey only to be played on the turf
• Team training and games take priority over personal use, do not use the turf if a team training or games are taking place
• Always wear shin pads and mouth guards
• Sneakers only- no sprigs, cleats etc.
• Keep scooters, bikes, prams outside the turf fence.
• Respect the facility and equipment
• Water only on the turf, no other food or drink
• Adults only to move boards and goals, put them back where you found them before your leave.
• Always use this facility with someone else, do not play alone
• If you find any soccer balls on the turf, please place them outside the gate for the football club to collect.
• Lock the gate when you leave
• The code will be changed by the council periodically, the new code will be re-issued by email at that time.
• Individual private use at own your own risk, please ensure your own safety
• Report any damages or Health and Safety concerns immediately to secretary@waikirikiri.co.nz
